I am in a relationship with a girl for the past 4 years and as per the stats I m really a good bf(as per her)  but trust me i was never good enough i had relationships with other girls(apart from her) I just knew one thing and that how to lay down a girl and on the other hand my gf was very much serious(I too but only serious). She never went out with her friends if I denied. She was doing everything as per my wish what to wear what not to wear whom to talk, everything. She was being devoured by her so called Indian values. My life was perfect  dating 2-3 gals at a time.

one day while going through the headlines of a national daily my eyes struck at one of the headlines it was “ARE YOU LIBERAL AND EDUCATED ENOUGH” as an engineering student my curiosity raised towards over the word liberal mentioned over there. It was about how we Indians treat women some see them as a machine which provides babies, some as slaves, some as maids and the worst one are those who think that they are born only to satisfy a Man’s desire. after going through all this a came to a conclusion that somewhere I too was the same. I wanted my gf to be the perfect but even i was not perfect.

‘Do for others just what you want them to do for you’ rightly said by saint Luke. The same thing happened My gf lied to me while she was watching movie with her friends and I was told that she is in her hostel. We broke up. And she made me  habituate to her, Now any gal I was trying to make out was going away from me. Don’t know what was wrong with me? Whether i have forgotten the art of luring gals or the ghost of my gf was haunting me.

I was thinking that it is only me who is so restless but later I found that she was still very much in love with me. During the breakup period I came to know the true meaning of being LIBERAL AND EDUCATED .by God’s grace we are together now but, now I don’t feel the need to enquire about where she is what she is doing, what she has to wear what not to wear. Now, She has her personal space. Its not that being away from her for around 6 months transformed me, but now I know that she too is a human being and she has the right to do everything she wants.

One more incident  that makes me feel ashamed of being a man is of last year when I was shifted to Bulandshahr a district in west of UP. I was standing at the Bus stop waiting for someone with my colleague, We saw a man was brutally thrashing his wife in front of the whole world just because she went on to meet her parents. Didn’t she had the right of visiting her parents after? And when she protested he shouted at him saying that ‘he is gonna tear of her genitals’. He only stopped when other other people standing over there came to her rescue. Was this behavior an appropriate one?? I am sure he must have beaten her up once reaching home.

Today we see a gal with a mini skirt we think that she is inviting us. But sorry guys its not an invitation its her worse luck that she is born in such a country where wearing shorts is concluded as an invitation or she is given a noun and that too ‘a slut‘. Who said wearing shorts makes you a slut. A gal wear shorts only because she likes it or she feels comfortable in it, and above all these things she is born in an Independent country where she has the right to wear whatever she wants.

I have a simple question CAN A BOY GO AND SIT IN A CLASS OF 50 GIRLS? My answer will be no.. coz i don’t have have that much courage not only me but 90% of boys will deny(10% being exceptions). Ask the same question to a girl and she will readily agree to this as they are much more stronger than we males are. They just hesitate to show that.

By the end I request you guys please stop ill-treating gals they are here to beautify your lives.
